Part of the space of this "Italian Mina Beach Festiva" street food event it was taken by Casinetto. Mr Giacomo Bernardelli manage even to bring one original Porchetta from Ariccia and a very good ham from Sicilian "Nebrodi" small black pig. Very good pizza from Bussola restaurant by Chef Marco Legittimo. Sommelier Simone Luca Gagliardi provided some good Italian wine with his "Tasted and Rated" stand. 1 kg plus US Angus 'Fiorentina' only for me! Special dinner, grilled, catted & carved directly on my table by Chef Maurizio Lazzarin. A very sumptuous cut of meat perfectly rare, tasty, tender and matured. I manger to eat almost everything I managed to ate it almost all, just fell on the last 2 pieces! Dr Janeta did not help me, did not help me, she ate a fish. Maurizio's 'peposo' & ice cream to finish. Thank you Chef, was a real pleasure!

Back to Basilico after few years, look more beautiful with this latest setting & decor than before. The US Black Angus filet of beef was perfectly rear, tender and tasty. Was even better if the grill was more hot!

If you prepare something's where the quantity of the oil is quite consistente, the quality of the oil used for that preparation is essential for the good result of that recipe. 'Focaccia di Recco' or to be more precise 'tipo Recco' for the very strictly and mandatory rules & protocol for this peculiar focaccia. Miclou extra virgin olive oil was perfect for my focaccia to my taste. Not to sapide or too strong, fruity fragrant and almost crispy. Helped by Italian white, at home Dubai.

Premesso che non sono un amante delle paste prodotte con farina integrale ma devo ammettere che questa artigianale mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso, consistente e saporita con una tenuta alla cottura di tutto rispetto e ha retto la prova con un ragù 'bello tosto' senza nessuna paura. Bene cara donna Lori Puglisi, molto bene, complimenti!

Let's try some artisanal tagliatelle produced with old Sicilian whole wheat type by donna Loretana Puglisi supported by a strong and tasty 'Culatello' ragù' brandy de Jerez and Cabernet Sauvignon splashed & Sarawak black pepper dusted. Helped by Argentinean red, at home, Dubai. Not bad experiment, not bad at all!
